Forest nursery extension

Costa Rica

The Upala Agrícola company will improve and expand its nursery for the production of forest and fruit trees.

Its proposal includes:

• Training its collaborators and people from the community on forest nursery practices that will help improve tree production and planting techniques.
• Produce more than 15,000 trees annually to donate to communities, educational centres, ASADAS and other entities, in order to promote reforestation.
• To support the processes of rehabilitation and environmental restoration in the Ruta Los Maleku Biological Corridor.
