Mobile app for selecting products against pests and diseases

The company Nicoverde has been selected as the winner of the Ideas Competition of the programme Del Campo al Plato in Costa Rica.

Their innovative idea seeks to develop a mobile application for small pineapple producers that will allow them to learn about:

• Agrochemical product restrictions according to certifications or supermarket requirements.
• Biological alternatives to substitute products with prohibition of use.

With this, the company seeks to contribute to the reduction of the chemical load and guarantee a sustainable pineapple production.
